See the world
The world is a very big place. With the Army, you'll get to see a lot of it. As a British soldier, your skills will be in demand right round the globe. On
adventurous training in the jungle, peacekeeping in a war torn country or in combat, you'll see a world few can even imagine.
And wherever you are, you will always be there to make a difference.
Be part of a team
In the Army, each new day brings a new challenge, whether physical or mental, training for war or adventurous training, in combat or in peacetime. But whatever the
challenge, you won't face it alone, because from day one you'll be part of one of the toughest teams in the world. Our strength comes from the role each individual
plays, at every level - from your own unit through to the Army as a whole.
Work hard - then play hard
The Army is a full-time commitment. You'll enjoy friendship, sport and adventure, and you'll have the freedom, encouragement and fitness to make the most of them all.
Army sports aren't just about football, athletics and rugby (although we have world class competitors in all these fields). As part of your adventurous training you
might learn to dive, ski or climb. And once you've learned, there's nothing to stop you enjoying these activities whenever you can. You'll be at the peak of your fitness
and you'll have all the encouragement and opportunities you need to fulfill your ambitions in your free time.
Day-to-day living
Of course, well-being involves more than physical exercise. From your food and accommodation to welfare, health and dental care, we'll do everything in our power to keep you fighting fit.
From the word go, you'll be based in barracks around the country. There you'll live, work and play within a close-knit team. And with shared experiences, lifestyles and interests,
you'll soon bond with the people around you and form long-lasting friendships.
