Account Manager (Healthcare/NHS)

This is a fantastic role working for a not for profit healthcare organisation. They are looking for a commercially minded Account Manager who is experienced in selling to and account managing healthcare organisations.

The purpose of this role is to develop and maintain sales in line with the annual business plan by promoting key products to a defined customer base primarily across Hospital accounts.

Main Responsibilities

-Grow the Income stream for the organisation in agreed markets to defined target levels.
-Increase the breadth and depth of client interactions through selling the complete portfolio of products and services to new and existing Hospital accounts. Build long-term partnerships with clients.
-Promote key products as defined by the marketing plan, to the target customer base.
-Drive sales opportunities through the company information management system, closing out business in line with financial plan and taking responsibility for tender submissions and proposal writing.
-Monitor and provide feedback on competitor products and activities
-Identify and use first-hand customer and market information to feedback on potential product and service developments
-Build excellent cross functional working relationships and work across the business to promote and implement a cross company approach where required.
-Proactively drive own Personal Development Plan
-The emphasis will be on quality interactions with customers with an expected call rate of 2 3 accounts per week during the first 6 months

Person Specification

A motivated account manager looking for the next step in developing their career who

-Has proven track record of selling solutions into hospital accounts at a senior level
-Can provide evidence of exceeding specific financial targets and the steps taken to achieve this
-Is able to demonstrate a consultative approach to account management to drive increased revenue and client value
-Is able to show an understanding of NHS procurement practices, tender and proposal submissions
-Is an excellent communicator with the ability to engage with senior stakeholders and front line staff alike
-Is highly motivated, action-oriented, initiative taker with good organization skills
-Has the ability to work both individually and as part of a team
-Computer skills, ideally Microsoft
-Has personal beliefs are In line with the Charity ethos of the organisation
-Is able to demonstrate a degree level of educational achievement
