European Business Development Manager (FMCG Hygiene Products)
My client is a leading UK manufacturer of infection prevention and control solutions including wet wipes and hygiene workwear. They are a trusted brand within the HORECA, healthcare and industrial sectors and supply through an extensive network of UK and International distributors covering over 70 countries. As they look to further extend sales within Europe, they are now looking to recruit a European Business Development Manager.
The requirement of the European BDM is to help grow existing distribution sales and identify new partners. Working closely with existing distributors, you will research and exploit new end-user opportunities, advise on new hygiene product lines and look to further develop the brand throughout the region. New business partners will be identified through researching and exploiting market trends and opportunities with end users in the HORECA, Healthcare and Industrial sectors. Utilising a push and pull sales strategy, you will assign new distributors observing the industry sectors they serve. The position will require approximately 70% travel to Central and Western Europe.
Candidates must be bilingual in English and a European language (Ideally French). We are ideally looking for an individual who has relevant sales experience selling in to the hotels, restaurant and catering sector (HORECA), Healthcare or Industrial (Engineering, Food Processing etc). It is highly desirable if you have experience selling FMCG product lines.
Basic salary: £40000 - £50000, New Business Commission Incentive, Company Car, Travel Allowance, Contribution Pension Scheme.
