This is a brand new role for the UK arm of StepStone Group, one of the world's largest job board businesses which will form part of a new portfolio sales function.

We are looking for someone who can join this dynamic team by working with our group of brands to help key clients reach their strategic recruitment goals, leveraging the portfolio of brands that StepStone UK offer.

This role is being created to develop a number of highly strategic accounts - often where there is little or no group relationship at present - into significant and lasting relationships.

Key skills and responsibilities:

  • Set and execute an aggressive customer acquisition strategy to generate annual growth
  • Developing and maintaining relationships, facilitating cross-selling opportunities that grow accounts over time
  • Creating and executing targeted account plans in concert with sales managers and executives
  • Coordinating and communicating with sales-support and professional services teams
  • Working with partners to increase opportunity size and expedite closure
  • Plan and manage at both the strategic and operational levels
  • Work with cross-functional team(s) to manage overall sales process
  • Reports on sales activity and forecast to senior sales management
  • Consistent overachievement of quota and revenue goals
  • Demonstrable experience in solution sales (ideally in a CRM, ERP, software and/or B2B company)
  • Proven track record of building satisfied, loyal and referenceable customers
  • C-suite level presence, excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Proven success working within a matrixed organisation and establishing strong relationships across all functions
  • Strong operational and analytical abilities
  • Proven record of success in a high volume transaction sales environment
  • Solid understanding of business value based selling
